Hey Guys,
Am about to show ya'll how little I know about mechanics etc with this question.
Got myself some locking wheel nuts from Gorilla, gonna chuck em on tonight. Just wondering if it's fine to remove a single wheel nut out of a wheel to replace it with the locking nut. Meaning I don't need to jack the car up do I?

Depends how quick you are.
Need some parts for my VH 253:
Green standard steering wheel...Green lower B-pillar covers.
Green sunglasses holder/lower dash bits...Air-con and assorted engine bay parts.
PM with any info.
I take it that a no? lol
It's fine to remove 1 wheel nut to replace it with a locknut while on the ground.
Cheers
Mat

My old man can fix anything, electrical, mechanical, you name it. And when I was a young fella we really didn't get along, so when he'd say "come & I'll show you how to do something mechanical" I chose not to listen to him. Well gentlemen, just now is yet another example of a time I wished I had of watched him work on stuff & learn what he had to teach me. What I'm trying to say it, I've ordered the correct locking nuts, for a VE commodore, but forgot to take into account that I have aftermarket wheels & the wheel nuts are a different size.
I now have no idea what size I need. Off to supercheap auto tomorrow...
