Default Upgrading from single to dual exhaust

    Hello everyone,

So I've purchased an SSV exhaust from eBay. Holmart tells me I need the following:

(If you are running a single system)
    You will need......
    1) 1 Rubber Exhaust Mounts (22674119) $11.00 each
    2) 1 Rear Exhaust bracket. (92066860) $22.00
    3) 1 Left Hand heat shield. (92252128) $39.00
    4) 1 Diff double exhaust hanger (92066857) $16.00
    5) Omega Lower bar insert! (For twin exhaust type) (92172410) $58.00

Now if I procured all the necessary components, would this be something I could do myself? Or is it best left to the professionals - and if so, what do you think would be a reasonable cost to have this installed?

    Any help is appreciated.

You could do it yourself - I'd expect it to cost $200 or more to pay someone (on top of parts).

Hmm at that price I might just give it a go. I don't suppose there would be a how-to for this sort of thing?

Even if the exhaust was a straight bolt on swap I'd really suggest using a hoist. It would make the job 100 times easier.

It will just bolt up - but will be very difficult to do it with the car on stands. +1 for a hoist.

Done this to my Omega, all bolt ons. Hoist would've been nice but didn't have that luxury so I improvised using 2 moving dollys. Just make sure the exhaust is not touching any part of the exhaust bays as you don't want the exhaust to vibrate against car.
