Tail Light Tinting

Just wondering how you tint tail lights. Thanks for any info

3 methods

1. Tint film...can buy precut from America for Pontiac G8. Best if you want it to reversible

2. Go to auto parts store and get a can of nightshades and do it ya self. Coat by coat to desired darkness

3. A good panel paint shop can tint clear coat to desired level and professionally spray them. Best finish IMO

I bought tint film off eBay. Arrived in perfect condition. The eBay add contained a youtube clips giving you step by step instructions. Very easy and I mean easy.

A mate used the VHT night shade stuff and it looked great. I saw film on another car and it wasn't a great result

yeah, you have to follow the instructions and make sure the film is properly kept wet. If you rush the cutting then it looks crap. Use a scapel like the ones my wife uses at work and a steady hand and its as easy as shooting fish in a barrel
