    Default VE custom gauges

hey guys I've got a 2007 omega and was going to do a gauge install into the unused part of the centre dash

I've seen kits on eBay and a few good looking gauges to match the interior stock ones but thought I'd ask which gauges u guys recommend?

Plus what's the best way to install an oil pressure gauge to the alloytec in the omega?

    Thanks guys

Yeah the pics don't do justice...you don't need to be a pro just be patient with it...it looks like the dash is in a lot of pieces but its actually only like 6 or 7 bits i think...i did it properly so wires didn't dangle down and look shit that's why i had to go in deeper lol

I have Aeroforce Interceptor Scan Gauges.

    Aeroforce Technology Inc | Welcome

These dont need to be wired into anything. Its a simple lead that plugs into the OBD port. I used a SS Inductions pod like Ignition's.

Basically, you mount the gauges in the pod and run the cable along the front of the dash under the two pieces of trim. The you run it on the inside of the trim on the right side of the dash until it pops out near the bonnet release. Then you plug it in.

Can be set to read hundreds od different parameters including fault codes.

Can even get it in green to match the Omega

and come in other colours as well.

    Downside...... $400 for two gauges....

I believe the centre speaker is the same on all models. That means that either the JHP or SS Inductions one should fit.

I'm on my phone writing this but search eBay item number 120750969904

    It says for all models.

    Thanks mate,

I looked at one on ebay yesterday and it said non-calais
"produced by SS Inductions to suit all Holden VE models except Calais."

Anyone know of one that would fit the Calais, or lives near Wollongong so I can compare them lol? :P

    No worries.

As I said, downside is cost. But getting two autometer gauges installed professionally would cost more. And these do so much more.

Exactly...the list of Functions is near endless...and you don't need a auto elecy to wire em up, so easily worth $400
