    Default VE side indicators

    anyone know how to change the side indicators on the front panel?
    is just just a staright swap with new ones?

    Should just be a straight swap, it's a sliding lock mechanism from memory.

    Front I think, I was cleaning it once and it scared the shit out of me when it shifted haha

    Definitely front. While you are at it change the globes to silver (look white but still flash orange). It's a fantastic improvement.

    I did this with my front and rears on my Stato, it gets rid of the shitty fried egg look.

    +1 on the globe change to chrome. Do the front and rear indicators too. A bit fiddly but worth the effort.

    Oh yeah....grab the side indicator firmly with your hand, push forward and then slowly move the back end towards you. Takes all of 5 seconds. Reverse action to put back in.

    Big tip! When you remove the indicator housing, apart from cleaning the edges and back of indicators, if you change the bulb over, make sure you secure the the wiring. You don't want it falling back into the car body. I suspect not fun to try and retrive.

    Chrome bulbs on Ebay (out of Aust) are cheap and reasonable quality and look great.
