    Unhappy parkers / headlights issue

    Hey all,

I'm having a issue with my my06 ve Calais.

I have installed HID's into my headlights and put LED's into the Parker's. There is no issue there, the issue is now the indicator to say if the lights are on on my dashboard don't work.. They work fine for the fog lights but nothing for the headlights/Parker's.

Does anyone have some sort of clue what may be causing this and a possible solution? its not really a big deal, I just want everything that should work to be working..

    thanks

Do you mean the blue high beam and fog light dash indicator? Because low beams don't have a dash signal??

Where do you people get your LED parkers from. So far I`ve bought 8 T10 style 4LED parker bulbs from Jaycar and after about a month they all seem to melts 1 diode and become a 2LED anda week later it looks like a disco going on in my headlights as they flash the last bit of life out of the. I leave my headlight switch on auto. Going back to a filament globe I think its less hassle and cheaper

eBay... I had some T10 LED parkers in my VT that lasted about 3 years before selling the car. I've got a couple of sets of WHITE ones for my VE so far and they have blue in them So I just got some Philips ones which seem perfectly white... Have to put them in sometime soon.

I have 3x5? Smd leds with x3 on top aswell. Had them for 3 months, then 3 weeks in the calais and one doesnt work. Hopefully just came out a bit because they are so expensive from jaycar.

In answer to the OP, I'm pretty sure there is no indication on the dash for parkers or low beam headlights, only for fog lights and high beam.

When your lights are just on parkers it should have thoes sideways facing lights on the dash, on low beam the indicator will turn off but
