If you buy a complete diff you can swap them over.
How hard is it to change the diff
you got access to a hoist so you got plenty of room under the car to work?
because changing a diff with the car on jack stands 30cm off the ground on the driveway would be nigh on impossible.... very very difficult.
The shops generally charge 3.5Hrs + oil & you will need a rear wheel alignment done after.
Had our V recently done removed the 2.92 single & had a 3.27 LSD fitted, huge difference.
The swap in the Ve's not as straight forward as previous models. I could probably dig up an old thread elsewhere where a member done it themselves over a pit.
BTW I have a good 3.45 LSD Peeps if anyone interested?
Cheers

im currently sourcing out a LSD for my VU. i wana keep the same ratio iv got in my diff, 3:46 or something close to that. been trying to find quotes on people who will make my diff into an LSD, but i cant find many
VZ SV6 now, Jelly?
VE diff units will not mate up to your VU, not sure of the diff gear or internals though, would be an expensive way to go!

also guys is there much difference between the 3.70 an 3.45 diffs?
thanks
Yours auto or manual?
Manual is better suited to the 3.7, auto to the 3.27/3.45. keep in mind that's a good all round ratio for both. If you like the track more often than not then 4.11 are good.
i have a manual
dont think ill be taking it to the track
My brothers is a manual and is running the 3.7, thinks it's really good.
edit: i has sv6 not ssignore
