Anyone had experience with transporting an exhaust?
Say..one like this: http://holmart.com.au/online/images/...%20hsvtips.jpg
I've been told even on a ute it sticks out about half a meter
I think OP realises the rear mufflers are separate... I think what he's asking is how to move the rest of it, and the answer is.... you are going to have to chop it if it it doesnt fit, because the rest of it (after the rear mufflers) is typically fabricated on the car. most aftermarket ones have flex joints half way down that allow you to unbolt it near the hotdogs, but if that pic is the exact exhaust you are buying it's going to difficult to keep it in one piece. even if you get it in a ute, by the time you get it home and install it it could very well bend or snap near the welded joints.
