    Default Camaro wheels

    G'Day all

I've been trying to find a replacement set of wheels for my Black SSV. There was one set I was curious about - A set of 20" Genuine 2010 Camaro rims.

Here's a piccie borrowed from a members ride on the US G8 forum. As you can see, not only do they fit, they come in 20x8.5 front and 20x 9.5" rear and look sweet as.

So - Has anyone put a set on their commodore, ever seen them for sale in Oz or know where I can get them Imported from?

    Cheers

I don't know of anyone selling these rims here in aus, but they are a nice looking rim! something different right there.

    Edit:
Just going through ebay (U.S.) version and finding heaps of these rims on there! have a look see maybe some that might ship over here and the prices are cheap as!

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/4-201...Q5fAccessories

As an example wouldn't know if this particular seller would ship to here...

    They look good.

Obviuosly, the stud pattern is the same, but the offsets may not be. Just check that first...

Assuming that the offests should be the same seeing that there on a g8 gt... but it doesn't hurt to find out exactly. Now I can't stop looking at these rims...

That's a good looking set of rims +10 for me!
And they should fit being the Camaro is a two VE.

I was going to put these on my car. Perfect fit, everything should be sweet.

Do them in a gloss black on your car...... Would look great

Camaro V8 runs staggered fitment as do HSV since introduction of VE commodore.

Camaro V6 runs the same rim specs frt & rr.

Camaro rims to suit camaro wheel base so the offset is not right for VE commodore as our wheel base is different to the Camaro.

Yeah, you'd think so. But what's to say his tyres aren't rubbing or he hasn't had his guards rolled or something? Better to be safe than sorry...

    40mm rear

    20x8 front
    20x9 rears

    Apparently the stock rim specs?

    Default Pics

Thanks for all the help, I was thinking midnight silver....I can see the appeal of gloss black, but Im not the biggest fan of black wheels on a black car. Just....too much black, you need to be careful IMO. You can see from the following pics that

    1) Black on black......so so (IMO)
    2) They on fit a G8.
    3) That G8 has 4 piston brembos, so Im sweet with 4 piston Harrops that fit under stock rims.
    4) For less than $1000.....why not? Another set I was looking at was $3K, so you dont loose out that badly if it doesnt work.
    5) And yes they appear to be 20x8 and 20x9 Rear
    6) From the G8 Forum;

As compared to factory 20" HSV wheels which are made to fit the G8 (48mm front and 57mm rear offsets with 245 and 275 wide tires), the Camaro 20" wheels (35mm front and 40mm rear offsets) move the front sidewalls outboard 18mm and the rears 17mm with the 255 and 275 tires you selected.

I see a lot of posts where people state "no rubbing" with these wheels but they seem to be just cruising around very carefully. Bluejacket, you have posted "I have not rolled them (fenders) but I am going to have to if I ever want to drive with someone in the back".

I think people should be aware that if they use the Camaro wheels and load the car or corner aggressively the tires are going to rub the stock fenders.

    7) I'll probably need to roll the 'fenders'

I will probably buy a set - in the next 2 -3 months. I'll put them on and let you all know how it goes....

.....or I'll just get a HSV set of something.......

They look sweet, I'm sure if you get them it'll turn heads here. I imagine not a lot of people would realise what they've come off.

    K man,

So your saying on the 3rd point that you need a different brake setup to fit the camaro wheels? So the stock brake system won't allow the wheels to fit? I might be reading this wrong...

No he's saying they will clear the bigger brakes. And if they clear big brakes they will clear stock..
