Default VE HSV LS1 CLUSTER FAULTY from ebay do not buy!!

    Gday guys

i have brought a HSV VE LS1 Cluster from ebay, had a guy from perth to reprogram for me. Turned up FAULTY Cluster. it really disappointing for me wasted my trip. Wasted my money.

Just letting you guys know if u want one in your VE ( advice from my reprogrammed guy), get it checked before u buy. it only takes 5 mins to remove your existing cluster and plug it in. All u do is when u remove the cluster do not turn the ignition on. Only when u have fitted the cluster. Turn it on as long u see its working. turn off then unplug, fit your stock cluster and then turn the ignition on. U shouldn't have any problems at all.

however Any body know how to repair from the inside that could get my HSV cluster working or any one has one lying around please pm me it has to be LS1 ( white cover back of the cluster with arrow logo.

VE HSV clusters into standard SS Commodores is a bit hit and miss unfortunately. Check the LS1 forum.

Few people got them to work while others have failed

It appears that if you want one, then the SS needs to be pre-MY09.5 and the HSV cluster needs to be of similar dates.

HSV used a different manufacturer and I wonder if this is what you have got. Something after that date.

I might not be reading this right but HSV VE LS1 doesn't make sense they were LS2 or LS3 or is LS1 a work shop or something?
Either way hard luck dude, you wouldn't be the first or the last to get ripped on eBay. Did you pay with PayPal If so just put in a claim and get a replacement or money back?
