sv6 Ute engine swap problems? (SIDI)

Hi guys,

I have 2 engines. A 2009 VE sv6 ute which is gone. I was going to get a mate to replace it with a VE sv6 SIDI engine. Will he have any problems? Are they interchangable? Sorry I am new to cars but trying to learn. We will change over all the computers and electronics. Thanks,

im not sure man ... i dont think they would be the same mounts they are essentially a whole different engine ... i know its not very helpful ... but anyway

It's probably not worth spending the money to get that done. As above i also believe it is not a direct swap which makes things complicated...
