So I picked up my ve v commodore yesterday, drove it 45 minutes home, and when i got home I noticed in the reflection behind me only 1 brake light working, the center one and the left one do not work, The car had a rwc done that day and also not to mention the hand brake being way to high up to 16 clicks, I called him n he said bring it in, but my worry is driving an hour to find he has no parts n driving home, anyone know anything about the center stop light?? Is it tapped into the rear left one or something ?? Any help would help!
independent from the left and roughly $100 in parts for replacement
Cheers bud, hard to replace?? Im annoyed as the roadworthy people should replace this n not me, correct?
?????? Bump
Just because they were lazy doing the RWC doesn't mean they are liable for the price to repair them.
I'd just go to your local auto electrician if you dont feel comfortable doing the changes yourself

Do u repair them? U don't Just replace them?![]()
can't repair the centre brake light, needs to be replaced if it's not just loose wiring somewhere.
With the eye level you can buy and replace the LED strip seperately, no need to buy the complete assembly.

Grab roof lining either side of light and pull down to unclip
Unclip red lense and remove
Pull led strip upwards to release and unplug
Reverse to fit new led strip
