Drivers Side Seat plastic Side Trim CRACKED along edge.

Has anybody had the drivers side plastic trim crack on the top edge side of seat where you adjust the seat to rock forward and back! Its on a SV6 2008 Ute only done 30,000klm Taking car in for warrantry for replacement.

Mate this problem has had the living bejesus flogged out of it on this forum. Try doing a search?

They may not replace it under warranty because it is not their fault ,that you did not sit in the seat properly, and because you sat on the edge ,and broke it and not a manufacturing fault , that will be $50.00 thank you very much. Good luck

My Calais goes through two of these a year, when it was under warranty the local dealer always replaced it if I asked. As hard as I tried and being large build I would always end up breaking it at some point then it would site there broken for 3 months or so waiting for the next Holden visit.
It used to happen in my VY as well, might be a similar part but I am certain it was because I'm heavy and getting in and out of the car slightly dragging my ass behind me was doing it. Either way, if it's under warranty ask nicely and smile. Don't bother with glue, it holds for 5 days at most!
