    Default anyone know how to get around removing front lip spoiler double tape rip paint

    got a holden front lip spoiler. dont really like it. i tried to remove it today. am glad am being careful it started to rip paint. this double sided tape must be like super glue. really holds on.. looks like am going to have to get a respray of front bumper due to the tape. unless there is a way.. any help would be great..

    They will likely be using the clear plastic mounting tape - really good stuff but horrid to remove. Try heating the outside of the lip with a hair dryer (you can use a heat gun but need to be REALLY careful). Try lifting it when it's warm, as it may be difficult to work dental floss in behind it to break the seal, otherwise you'll need to be patient and try to contort the floss under the curves of the lip (not sure how that will work - if it's just the one bend, it should be fine - just take your time).
