    Default Gas injection on a 2011 S2 SV6 Sportswagon

Is it possible to get a LPG Injection set up for the 2011 S2 SV6.

Any recommendations in Sydney and rough estimates on price?

Is the LPG rebate still going?

google a company called orbital autogas they are in the process of testing a liquid injection system for SIDI which from what i have been told you will be able to do a cold start on LPG, From what I know they plan on releasing it Nov this year if all tests well

    Cheers taxi

I do like the idea of starting on petrol and then switching over to gas, but if a cab can do 3 or 4 hundred thousand km on gas then not to concerned with my 100,000km it will do in the time i own it. So will look into this soon

My gas installer told me that the kit for the sidi engines are now available for installation.
He also told me that with the vapor injection they originally had issue with injectors melting, but this kit now dribbles a small amount of fuel whilest on gas 2 keep the injectors cool.

This System is currently on a couple of cabs and they are experiencing problems with injectors and also ecu raking up error codes my advice is to wait untill the better system is on the market and avoid the vapur injection on the SIDI as its nothing but trouble if u want advice let me know and ill give you the number for my gas installer

I know but if a car is duel fuel i prefer it to start on petrol first because the LPG VE series can have problems with the fuel pump when not being utilized, but if ur fuel pump is already **** itself then cold start on lpg is good untill something goes wrong then u have to pull of the air intake to the throttle body and stand like a dick with a can of carby cleaner to start it untill it goes over to gas.

I just had my 08 sv6 lpg install done yesterday and again i used the orbital liquid injection system by the end of the month that one will also be a taxi, with my other omega ive had the LPG on for 5 months now and done 60000 kms since then with only 1 problem of a loose connection but the car has not even thrown a error code I think its one of the only VE Omega cabs in Adelaide without CHECK ENGINE on its screen .

But then again I also change the cork/rubber inlet manifold gasket to the aluminum one to avoid air leaks which also cause the emission system to throw error codes and the car to come up with check engine
