VE SV6 questions!

Ok relatively new to this so I have a few questions.
Im looking to buy a VE sv6 commodore in black and I am wondering.

What are the general differences between year models 06 to 08 looks and performance wise?

I am def getting a black one but am really confused about the colour differences. So far looking on carsales I have seen black, metallic black, phantom black and metallic phantom black. I didnt even know there was a metallic phantom black? is that even a colour?

Can a hayman reese towbar(Or simmilar) be used on VE commodore? I only want the little square to show where it hitches on is this possible?

Well if it helps mine is phantom black.. and yes i have seen some with hayman reese towbars
