So I noticed I was leaking coolant, pressure tested it, and found my heater hoses to be leaking, will need about a liter of coolant I'm told, just wondering if I can mix the factory stuff with Red nulon long life???? Of course after i replace them, any tipS would also help?
Good question I will need to kno this as my water pump bearing is giving up. Makes a lovely scratching sound when she is cold

How many KM and has the coolant been changed before? If it's a couple of years old it wouldn't hurt to drain and flush then refill with the new stuff with quality water. Also keep in mind when topping up or refilling that you can sometimes get air locks so keep a good eye on the temp gauge and top up again if required
Oh and to answer the question, I wouldn't recommend mixing coolants of either different brand or adding new coolant to an old mix.
get rid of it all mate and get genuine stuff or nulon....one or the other
Do not mix them !!
U learnt this a hard way in the past
What does holden use in these ? mine needs new coolant as well, i don't believe the 5 year unlimitted K's claim.
Holden uses acdelco red extra long life coolant for all engines cast from alloy, that is supposed to last 5yrs, however at work we recommend it to be changed every 2yrs. With the v6s, they can be a real pain in the neck to bleed air from the system, sometimes we have to elevate the front of the car to help the air escape out of the filler neck as most air locks occur in the heater core.
As said dont mix coolants.
Also theres a bleed screw on the top of the radiator, drivers side. Leave this open till coolant flows out then close it then run for a while (till it reaches running temp) and remove again till coolant flows out. You really need a radiator hose jammed in the fill point to raise the high point of the coolant when youre bleeding the system. When the fluid starts to whirlpool at the fill point its bled and flowing correctly.
