VE Tail lights to fit Berlina?

I've wanted to replace my stock Berlina tail lights for a while now, because I'm sick of seeing the Calaises around looking better than me with their clear casing instead of the crap red of the Berlina.

When we owned a Calais as well as my Berlina I tried the Calais lights on and liked them, but had to remove them to sell the Calais

I've been looking around... A couple of mates are of the opinion the Omega/SV6/(SS?) lights look better than the Berlina's but I'm not keen, and I'd prefer SSV ones. But I'm a bit confused as to what fits because a lot of items online say the SSV tail lights will fit Omega, SV6 and SS, but not Berlina or Calais, even though the SV6/SS lights fit a Berlina/Calais?

If anyone has a bit of knowledge about this I would much appreciate if they could impart it on me or make a few suggestions.

They will fit but you need to change the rear bumper cover too.

I need to change the bumper? How much would that set me back? I have a ding in my current one so wouldn't mind replacing it anyway... Would I have to fit an SSV bumper?

the only lights that will fit the Berlina/calais are those two. unless you go hsv's which obviously are more expensive than all of them coz you'll need the bar and the caps. rear bumpers for the ssv are that much from memory.

The calais and berlina lights sit lower and are taller than omega-ssv's

You can get any bumper of the following Omega, SV6, SS and SSV, and you will also need to purchase the black part of the bumper think is the diffuser, and you will ned to get the reflectors to fit that difuser, beacause the SSV lights Dont have reflectors in them like your berlina ones

This one appears to have reflectors... DIFFUSER VE SS SSV SV6 & OMEGA GXP STYLE SED & WAG | eBay

So I could fit that to an SV6/SS/SSV rear bumper... Problem is I don't have dual exhaust so it'd look a tad awkward.

with that speceific diffuser u can fit it to those bumpers but aprently u need to mod it a lil , Ring up Holden spare parts and ask for the rear diffser for an Sv6 bumper + the refeltors shouldnt cost much, or you can get an omega bumper and the 2006 model omega diffuser its a single eaxhaust one, i bought a twin exhaust system for myne looks heaps better.
