Voodoo and chrome

Whats everyones opinion on chrome wheels on a voodoo blue ute? Having only had black rims on cars ide like a change, i do like the black with polished lip against voodoo, but can chrome look equally as good?

i reckon chrome would look better than the black but chrome is high maintenance. the black rims look good on white silver and black cars. so in ur case vooodooo blue chrome is the way

I've got black, polished lip on my ute in 20"s. I nearly went for chrome but every ve I saw with chrome no matter what colour it was just didnt seem to suit the ve"s shape.some like it I don't. although painted or powdercoated
alloys look nice on our colour eg: silver speedy

I'm not a big fan of chrome wheels I think they're a bit tacky (Red line editions, Corvettes) just a bit to bling for me.

Im in the same boat as you mate lookin for rims atm as you i like chrome against the voodoo but im also been looking at black with a polished lip but i did see something today which caught my eye black chrome with a polished lip i will try and find a pic

I've had both chrome and black wheels and I personally found the black wheels harder to keep clean, so look as the chromies are nice and tastefull they'll look great, smooth flat or simple 5 spoke chromies work best

maybe look at shadow chrome?? Looks much better than ya average chrome.

Mixed results it seems. I do like the darker shadowed chrome, the colour coded wheels can also look good if done right. Decisions decisions

In the end get what you think looks good. Just stay away from cheap/tacky chrome and you can't go wrong.

I had shadow chrome before I got my supersports and they were nice.

was having the same problem a little while ago, i like chrome upagainst the voodoo, however i just brought white wheels. love the look even more.

I've seen a bloke with a blue VE SS ute parked on my street with white wheels, it looks brilliant. Not sure if any of the other colors could pull off white wheels.

white wheels against the voodoo blue look awesome. black wheels are the in thing at the moment, but chrome still looks great as long as you get the right wheel design. the really dark shadow chrome looks sexy as hell on the darker cars.
