It's colour matched to your paint code, that would be a lot of the cost I would imagine

Looks ok, but you've still got the P.I.T.A factor of installing it.

It doesn't look big enough to fit over the existing aerial base, so you'd have to remove the existing base, which would involve removing your interior roof lining.

I had been wanting one of these and someone I know had gotten one for the G8, it fits.

Sent them off an email today about getting it done in Provence (as they dont have that colour on their site) and gave them the paint code,

    Shall see how it goes.

They have these on the e90 3 series bmw but they are for GPS reception (they are on all even if the car is not fitted with GPS) as they radio antenna is actually in the rear window (sorta like a demister).

Its just my opinion but I think these look crap on a commodore - but its not my car they going on so filll your boots

They have these standard on the Daewoo Veritas (Re-badged 2008 Caprice).
It doesnt look too bad on the Daewoo, however what happens to your radio reception once you install this ?

Does it have an internal antenna wire that connects up to the socket ?

they used to look good when they were only on BMW's. It's like all things that look good on one brand of car- people think they look good on all cars, like Audi lighting, and Chev badges.
dont like them myself - but each to their own!

I don't like it at all, attracts more attention to the aerial than the stubby antenna does.

Yeah, I think they look a bit too chunky. Each to their own though...

I like it, and I would do it too..... however owning a VX it would look epic fail to have a shark fin on my front left panel... maybe ill find a better place if i shave it... But i like em.. think they look much better...

Also, my mates VE's radio reception is still perfectly fine with you screw off the antena in total... (the black rod part, leave the base alone! lol) might as well just get a black plastic plug.. lol
