Your link doesn't work.
Yes you can take remote from ciggy lighter. And assuming the link is for line level converters yes it will work too

this is of the website im gonna call them but it seems to plug in the head unit or to the wiring of the headunit if this is the case then its an easy job for me coz then ill run the rcas wire to the back get a remote from from the ciggy plug. when i got it on my old car the guy soldered the wires under the steering wheel and i dont wanna play with it like that. if i fail ill just take to him

Those plugs there are for AUX IN not AUX OUT. There was a thread about this a day or 2 ago have a look. Basically you will need a LOC or tap into the rear speakers (worst option).
And i love how they charge nearly $100 for something that costs aroun $2.30 to make!
Just saying compared to a LOC as you can equalize the LOC but cant the Rear Speakers. But if he only wants the sub and not speakers i suppose its fine for that.

I tapped in the rear speakers with a line converter and it workes great.I replaced the front and rear speakers with a set of orion speakers ($400 for both sets) and use two 12'' type S alpine subs and v12 alpine mono amp for the bass, witch i have from my old car.I got this all done in a day thanks to this,If you missed it at the top The VE section:Upgrading VE Stock Speakers - How To
