Default E85 Badge, looks shit! Ideas for a replacement??

    Hey guys,

Ive got a new Series II SSV ute and it has the E85 badge on the right hand Side at the rear of the tray, and to be quite honest i think it looks shit. Wanna take it off but would prefer to replace it with something a bit better looking.....

Anyone got any ideas for a badge to replace it with???

    thanks guys

^^ add to that a bit of heat from a hair dryer (not heat gun) and it will make life a lot easier.

You may need to polish the area to remove any marring on the surface.

Dental floss is a good substitute for fishing line.

You'll need to protect the whole area (prepsol will strip everything) - so it's a good excuse to wax your car!

3M Adhesive remover works wonders also - if you can find it.

Tinsnips is right mate, get rid of it all together.

Ive taken my E85 and series 2 badges off, looks heaps cleaner now. Do yourself a favor, try the hair dryer/heat gun method 1st, fishing wire/dental floss is a nightmare. Speaking from experience..

Just put a $ between the "E" and the "8".

    Then enjoy the teenybopper attraction..

My sedan took under 30 minutes for all 12,000 badges on it, with just dental floss. No dryer, nothing else except a little elbow grease to remove the adhesive left behind
