If the cluster back covers are the same colour, (I.E. The new cluster back plastic cover is white, and the cluster back cover is also white, or vice versa), then, Yes, it will fit, plug up and mostly work.
The cluster will require EEPROM programming (By Tech 2 or other means).
This will set the VIN Number in the cluster to be the same as your cars VIN number, as well as vehicle options so as the cluster does not throw codes and disable ABS / Traction Control.
You will also need to set the Odo Reading to your current reading. (I dont know if Tech2 can do this, but you can certainly do this with the method below)
You can attempt to program the cluster yourself. All you will require is an EEPROM programmer, and a 3M SOP8 Clip, which will allow you to program the EEPROM chip without removing it from the board.
All this will set you back roughly $80-$100 depending where you buy stuff (eBay, etc)
As for programming the EEPROM chip, and memory locations, do a search on Google for VE Cluster EEPROM.
There is heaps of information out there for this kind of stuff.
There is lots of stuff you can program with these clusters, such as LCD Brightness, and HSV Power button mode.
