Do the VE's have any footwell lighting or place holders so that the globes can be just put in?
I noticed there was an installation thread for LED Footwell Lighting, but if there is existing infrastructure there that would be awesome..
phreddy from asr is coming down to melbourne soon and is they best in custom lighting for car he does all the custom dash and console lights. he also does footwell. think he charges $60 for it. but u need to email him to be put on his list. he is always busy when here. but he is the best
Thanks SV6.07 wasn't really after a custom one though. Just wanted to know the Footwell lights were there already like they are in a Ford XR just without globes?
Thanks
WM has footwell lighting standard. Dunno if the wiring would be there for other models.
My calais has them too. Wouldn't have thought the wiring would be there though, just remove the cover under the glovebox and have a look.
Thanks everyone, I'll try and have a look and see what I find.
From what I have heard, if you do not have footwell lamps, the wiring will not be there.
There will be holes for the bulb holders in the plastics, but you will need to source the bulb holders, and wire them up.
The bulb holders are a common part. (Ford uses the same type, as will other manufacturers).
If you wanted to wire them up yourself, you will need to make a connection to the BEM.
berlinas calias and statesmans and caprices have them sttandard omegas and sv6 dont ss im not sure
I'm a boy who appreciates a good body, regardless of the make.
