    Cool Ve mystery knock

GDAY GUYS. MY 2008 VE BERLINA HAS DEVELOPED A KNOCK IN THE PASSENGER SIDE COLUMN BETWEEN THE TWO DOORS. BEEN BACK TO HOLDEN TWICE AS THE CAR IS STILL UNDER WARRANTY BUT WITH NO LUCK. SOUNDS LIKE A LOOSE SEATBELT MOUNT AND ONLY AUDIBLE OVER BUMPS ETC. ANY THOUGHTS????

This may sound stupid, but i had a similar thing in my VE ute, turned out the metal part of the buckle was tapping the carbody as i drove along, they readjusted the
length and was gone for good.
IF YOU BUILD IT THEY WILL COME.... STILL WAITING LOL

Fairly sure its the striker, the bit which the door latches onto.

    mine did the same thing.

I personally lowroozer, i would search outside the column for visible loose objects such as the striker(as previously mentioned) and go from there, than carefully take the trim apart and check out that seatbelt roller, they are rather heavy and can sound like a "knock" when loose, i recently had mine out to run some wires, that is also a simple tighten up with a socket/spanner.

Thank you lads, will begin the hunt tonight. I will also try and upload photos of my VB SLE, she's no trophy winner but she's all good to me.
