    Default What type of hids do i need?

    Hey everyone just looking around for hid kits and im just not to sure what globe the ve series to run is it a H7 ?

    Yeah the headlight ones are H7, i THINK i remember someone saying that the hog lights were different but i dont know.

    Agreed. Nobody wants their retinas burned out by your low beams.

    Hey troy, i was thinking of getting HIDs aswell, why not for low beam? Are they bad for the head lights or do they just bblind the #### outa people?

    H7s it is, they work fine, have your headlights correctly adjusted after the install and never mention them on here again. They work perfectly, and I have come face to face with mine and traveled in front of it

    Unless you have the parabolic lenses, you will blind the oncoming traffic as others have mentioned. Do a quick search and there is an ebay item that most of us have purchased.

    I have 8000K HID's in my SV6 Reflector lenses and have just aimed them lower at the ground so there not blinding oncoming traffic but still lighting up the road for about 30 metres ahead. Been through several RBT's and haven't been mentioned at all. Although coming over hills and speed bumps still shines them high but that would be the same for the SSV projector lenses as I'm pretty sure they don't auto-level like there "supposed to" if you want to put HID's in legally.
