08 VE SV6 Air conditioning won't turn off!

Hi all,
On the way home this afternoon I couldn't get my air con to turn off?? When I push the button in, the yellow light stays on. Even if I turn the fan speed control anticlockwise all the way to left it still won't turn off. Has this happened to anybody or do you know a fix?

Is it on re-circ or window demist?
I don't think you can turn the air-con off when those modes are selected.

if the above isnt the solution try taking off the fascia and putting it back on sometimes the pins have a spaz. To get the fascia of wrap fingers under bottom and pull like your going to snap it

Thanks guys! It was raining so I did have it on de-mist. I've only just bought the car and am unsure of the idiosyncrasies. I'll try changing the dial off de-mist in the morning. Thanks so much for your help! Much appreciated. Matt
