Ve sv6 growler problems

Hey. Just installed a growler kit to my ve sv6 sidi. After about 50 kms of driving my check engine light has come. Does any one have any suggestions as what could be wrong or has anybody had any similar issues. Thanks.

I've had one installed on mine with no trouble. Only thing I could suggest is check the maf sensor

Ah k. Where is that lol? And what am I checking for?

Dunno what to check for really. Maybe that it's all plugged
In and secured properly maybe. It's the cable with a stick thing that gets screwed on to the growler box. There should be a hole for it. Sorry for the crap description. Other then that really I am unsure what else could be the problem

ah yup i know what your talking about . Just checked it seems to be all in good order. Have contacted SS Inductions to see if they have any ideas. Might take it of and replace original for now.

haha im not giving up that quick mate. Just been playing around with it. Re adjusted the earth bolt and washer and reset my battery. Now no warning lights. Still cautious though. See how it goes tomorrow!

I see your in Brisbane if it comes up again why dont you drop in to SS inductions at Yatala and get them to have alook , they will be able to check the kit and there is an APC and Walkinshaw right next door so they will be able to check the codes for you .

Earth bolt can be easily stuffed up. Make sure you have that washer fitted properly!

Just had a call from Shane at SS inductions. Apparently some of the sv6 sidi's have been doing the same thing. So disconnecting the battery for about ten mi utes should do the trick. If not have to get it turned of by someone who tunes.

Nah mate their prolly not gonna wanna turn that off even if did get it tuned . Its probably install related I had a 2010 Sv6 SIDI and i got them to install it no problems. Its was a friday arvo and they shouted me afew JD and cokes while they installed it for me . Let me drive the SS inductions ute down to Ormeau to get the cash outa the atm .
