Dont waste your money on normal cai. Get an otr. you'll endup getting an otr anyways as most people do.
I think most people on here will agree that ort is the way to go.

OTR is the way to go, and there are many good brands, VCM and Duspeed seem to be most popular.

However, if your heart is set on a normal CAI, apart from the SS Reductions CAI, the only one I know of is the VCM Air Box and intake pipe,

Well you might be waiting a while for a mafless tune for your SIDI engine so just get a cheapie airhammer or get a VCM airbox cai . The VCM looks similar in design to the SS but apparently flows better .

    Duspeed looks very nice.
Spoke to a few guys at work and a few truck drivers about
Otr vs normal cai and only one driver said that to be carefull
with otr as cause they can apparently ingest more moisture
Than normal and potentially cause motor damage.
Ive done a bit of research on this, ( heat absorbtion, moisture
Etc) and even guys at work sat otr. Is there really THAT much
Difference between otr and normal cai in terms of effecientcy
and power gains? ( before and after tune)

    Thanks guys.

A more direct path for the air to get into the engine makes an OTR more efficient.

Regarding heat soak with an OTR CAI: There is none except for when you sit in traffic for long periods and if you're sitting in traffic any performance mod becomes obsolete.
