I can disable it permanently by messing up the Instrument Cluster EEPROM values.
Very easy to do, and I have accidentally done this many times when trying to enable / disable features on the VE Cluster.

I think the question everyone is thinking though is WHY ?
Is the car a track car or something ?

If you have traction controller permanently off, and are using the car on the street, and you are involved in an accident, and insurance finds out, then your insurance cover will be null and void.
Just one of the many many reasons why this is not a good idea for a street car.
A track car however, thats a different matter...

They (Holden) probably thought that it was such a pig to drive that there wasn't a need for traction control as it debt have the power to actually break traction. (This comment is coming from a former VZ S ute owner.)

Didnt yours have traction control aswell? Like mine didnt have it in eye view, not sure if there was a secret place or somthing didnt really bother looking for it. but cutting the springs on a vz ute with no traction control on the car was the worst thing to drive ever. It would never keep in a straight line, and it was so uncomfortable to drive.

Drove it to melbourne and back with a mate, and i must say I WILL NEVER EVER EVER EVER DRIVE TO MELBORUNE, AND NEVER NEVER CUT SPRINGS LIKE THAT AGAIN.

    Troy, your ute was beautiful.

Mine was an Auto aswell. Well i wouldnt say mine was that slow. Also im sure your grandma's Gemini was ether a V8 or TWIN TURBOd and ofcourse your grandma would beat you, im sure she was an F1 driver before. Also i bet your grandma took more corners sidewaz then a asian on a drift course.

All you have to do is hook up a relay with a time delay in parallel with the switch on the console. It needs enough time to wait after you have switched it on.

    See: Time Delay Relay
