Today as I was reversing out of the drive way the rear sensors were doing the constant beep with the red on the display. I got out and noticed one was slightly pushed in causing it to face the sensor towards the housing that holds it so I played with it trying to fix it but it feel behind the bumper. Got back in the car and the constant beep was still going so I just pushed the console button to turn them off. Then done what I had to do jumped back in the car and noticed they didn't turn back on when I put the car in reverse and when I pushed the button to turn them on just flashed red. So when I got back home took off the bumper everything was still connected followed the cables to a 6 pin connector next to the battery, that was plugged in fine I checked fuses for both front and rear sensors they were fine. Tried disconnecting the battery still don't work just flashes red when I push the button and nothing happens when I put it in forward or reverse. Any help will be greatly appreciated
Did you refit the sensor? May need to clear the codes to reset the park assist module...
Or do you have a towbar fitted?
Silver Certified.
Ye everything is connected back up and no tow bar. Just strange how it refuses to work now
Did you make sure to put the sensor in the right way. When you pull the sensor out there an arrow cast into the black part (clip). Make sure this is facing up as it will read diagonally (floor to sky) and it may be why your having this issue. The sensors through out a flatish beam which is left to right.
So they didnt work this morning when i left for work but now there working lol keeps saying something is behind me though so you might be right nick about the orientation of them. Thanks for your help guys
