Very nice,
What did you have before...
no, its the MY12 model SSV redline that holden is bringing out, its not mine :P (i wouldnt mind one though haha)
Gotta say, I'm not a fan of all the chrome - and the wheels, though better, are still a mistake - They look like they're polished super sports. Polishing them wasn't necessary.
yeah i dunno, the chrome makes it a lil different from the normal SS i guess i cant say i HATE it. the wheels look way better than the originals.
just gimme the front brakes plz :P
Are these actual press released pics or the obligatory "We're not too sure this is what it's going to look like but we're going to say it definitely is so we can sell more copies" Wheels/Motor mag chops that seem to come about every 6 months or so?
I dont like the rims - though the chrome is working for me.
Accoring to Holden Commodore range - Holden reveals MY12 Commodore details | GoAuto this is the one to hit showrooms next week - so i'd like to think its the final edit! But chrome.. BLAH!
Chrome is for luxury cars and just looks tacky on these red line editions.

Yes I know, if you get anymore manly you are in danger of making yourself pregnant!
Just read - V series SV6 ? WOOP WOOOP
Like the old saying "if it don't go, chrome it"...
IMO the chrome trim looks too Grandpa Calais'ish.
Wheels, hmm, dunno. They look better than the previous G8 leftovers but I can see some bargin's for future eBay dwellers.
Apart from that, I wonder if the designers/engineers addressed any of the current MY11 issues????
VE II SS-V Sportwagon
Blacked out where all the chrome is, that's what the Redline needs!
Lets hope they fix the leather baggy seats and engine cold start knock by MY12.
I really like those wheels compared to the oldies, but not the chrome, Would be much better painted silver or something..
The chrome strips are only stuck on. A bit of work with a hair dryer and they should just pull off.
The wheels are a 20" verion to the current 19' SSV series 2 wheels. As for the brembo brakes it would look a lot nicer if they updated the rear caliper (brembo also).
