    Default painting my ve rims black

    I am going to paint my standard ve rims black.
    Should i go gloss or mat?

    What colour is the car? If its bright colour id go matte

    Edit: Saw ur colour is Ignition, Id go Matte mate But which rims are you painting? just the stock rims? Ive seen few painted gloss and look extreamly nice

    Sorry, I have a ignition sv6 lowered. The wheels I have are the standard series 1 ones

    I personally prefer gloss looks better. Plus keeping them clean is easier as the finish is non-porus.

    Go Satin Black which is in between. Gloss makes tyres look old and shyt, and matte, well each to their own

    I've seen these on a black ute (without the red insert), and they looked awesome. I'm thinking of them next time I need new tyres

    I went for gloss as matte/satin just look dirty-
    painting my ve rims black-image.jpg
    PERFORMANCE MODS- JTG Liquid injection, Under driven pulley, Pacemaker extractors, 3" X-force system, Cold air intake, MAF Less tune 267.9 RWKW'S

    +1 for gloss and preferably 2 pac.

    Means you can use normal car cleaning products on it

    Well I take it I should go with gloss.

    I had mine powder coated, it was a lot cheaper than painting.

    Well here she is. Me and the brother finished this arvo. Just used spray primer and spray gloss black.
    And a before and after shot.
