I know there has been quite a lot on this..so please forgive me if its been covered before.
I read that the earlier model commodore wheels will fit on a VE.
Can anyone confirm that this is so?
I am thinking of going "old school" and going back to running 16's..so.. looking at wheel options..(16 inch "chromies is what i really want..but dont think it possible unless I get some standard rims plated)
Thanks for any input.
Scott
VE hubs are 66.9 mm wide or something while vb-vz are 69.9, so the middle needs to be machined out, also VE wheel studs are bigger, but once the wheels are machined the VE wheels will fit older commodores...
HOWEVER in ur case u want old wheels on ur VE, iv heard of hub spacers to close the diameter a little but further research is needed
pretty sure omega ceptors or alloys are 16"s correct me if im wrong tho.....
you need to get the 5 stud holes re-drilled, just buy brand new 'old school' wheels and order them in VE stud patten, i've seen an omega on CSA 15's so it's possible, also seen a VE on VY senator sigs too
I would love to see the ol calais international wheels in 18 or 19 inch.
