    Default VE SV6 Service

    Hey,

I know there is a How To thread about this, but this is more of a, what exactly do I buy to change the oil in a VE?
    13 or 15mm socket?
Obviously a pan. (I have nothing related to mechanical equipment).
    What model filter?
Do you need to jack the car up to do this? The How To doesn't really mention. If so, jack up the back or front?
Sorry to be a n00b PITA.
I'd rather just get all bases covered before I start it. Going out on lunch today to buy everything I need.

Oil and oil filter, 10w - 30w oil, I think, check the manual and any auto shop can have a look at what oil filter you need. Jack up the front, DO NOT GET UNDER A JACKED UP CAR WITH NO AXLE STANDS. You will also need a oil tray to drain all the oil into and a funnel (to put new oil in and put old oil in the containers you just emptied, so you can dispose of the oil properly).
