Ve Side Flute Indicators

Hey guys i was just wondering how you remove the side indicators on the VE Ute, including the grill part.
I want to take them out and paint the edge around the grill part.

Hold the indicator and slide forward. It should then pop out and then just unplug it. Takes 2 seconds
