Default How much could I sell a genuine hard cover lid for?

    Hi all

I am thinking about buying a mates ute. It has the genuine Holden hard lid fitted - it's something I dont want and I would just need a Tonneau Cover.

What is a realistic price I could sell it for ( Atomic green) so I can factor this into my costs

I have my EGR lid on Ebay at the moment ending on Saturday with a current bid of $985. So you can get $1000 depending on style and condition.

You'll sell it for however much someone is willing to pay for it...

Advertise it - if you get no inquiries, you're asking for too much.

You wont be able to remove all of it from your ute as theres holes drilled for the hinges with rivet style nuts that dont come out. The hinges are usually sikaflexed to the body as well.

So to sell a complete kit youd need to try and get those parts from somewhere..

    Hey guys

I am going to bub this one up. I am still chasing a ute - my questions is, when you remove the hard lid a is there much damage left to the body from where it was fixed? I presume this will be covered by the soft cover?

there will be holes left where the brackets of the hard lid are hinged to, and no doubt the brackets would of scratched the paint underneath. So the metal piece behind the window will need the holes welded up & repainted if you so desire or they will be covered by soft cover.

Will also be holes where the latches were mounted.
