    Default Ve Calais wheel change.

Hi all, had some trouble today with my new rims.Replaced 20 inch rims with the standard 18 inch ones, as soon as l left the tyre place, had all these faults come up. Abs fault, traction control fault, contact dealer.went back to tyre place, guys from holden dealership came in & hooked it up to the scanner, told me have to do a tech 2 via the net at the dealership. Ended up taking the rims back off, put the old ones back on & got home in limp mode. Is this normal for a rim size chnage? Thanks.

Wrong size tyres? So the diameter was messed up and uneven on both sides? And that's odd

Errors came up on my Calais when I had to use the stupid space saver spare in place of a 20" wheel. Have since bought an alloy (same as front wheel) for the spare.

The errors fixed themselves after taking the space saver wheel off again though.

Could have been a fluke. Tech 2 will be able to diagnose. VEs are becoming famous for dud wheel sensors.
