    Default VE Carbra

Looking at getting a carbra for my missus SV6, for the odd trip down south. I am looking at a carbra australia one for $405 or a autotechnica one for $210, both include postage. Is the extra $200 worth it for the car bra australia one, probably get used 2-3 times a year. Anyone had experience with either?

car bra is good.. but remember when you take them off depending on how much you use it.. your going to get paint fade under it.. i chose to get the invisible bra on mine. totally clear. gives very good protection. and u cant see it on the car. so i dont get faded paint still have the looks. also got the strips for my rear wheel arches to stop stones being thrown up . even though it rare i go on dirt roads with 20" tyres. its just protecting the car a little better. not sure if there got your model couldn't see it there.but give them a call and find out. always good to keep the looks not cover it up .

i have a genuine carbra one for the missus captiva , i wash and dry the car before i fit it and wash the car bra after each trip and let it dry before refitting it .
we boght the captiva new and its been used on two trips , i took if off and cleaned it each time before refitting it for the return home and the front of the captiva is unmarked , the carbra has never marked the paint .
i bought a second one for the ve ss and it fits perfect .

Ive got an autotechnica one for mine, fits fine, I'm sure the car bra aust would be a little nicer, but probably not $200 nicer....

car bra's are fine, wont damage car if you clean everything beforehand. any dirt underneath will act like sandpaper... so you need to make sure things are clean beforehand- AND kept clean during install by proper snug fitting.

I'll sell you our brand new, never used car bra for $200 including freight. It was never fitted and is first rate.
