    Default Ps3 boot install

    Any1 that is electrically minded can help me out with an inverter that will run a ps3 slim and a lil 20" LCD screen?

    The first thing that comes to mind would be a power inverter, pick them up at any auto place.
    As for power that you would need, in total around 350W, maybe 400W just to be safe.

    Am looking at a pure sun wave 300wrms and 600 peak reckon that will do. Also have to take the start ups unto account which I think the 600 peak will be usefull. But I believe the ps3 runs at about 150wats and a screen like 50 max. Just did alot of research into this and ppl are having probs running this with a 1000 way inverter. Not sure if that is max or not

    Will do just got other priorities. Rego licence renewal new rear rubber and a water pump. Finally will be off my p's. Start shopping for a v8

    I use a 180watt 300watt surge sinewave inverter from jaycar to run just a ps2 as I use the colour screen in the center dash.

    Works great

    You can buy an adapter off eBay to plug into a cigarette socket, used one to run the ps2 in my old VS

    Don't get an inverter, get a dc to dc converter much more efficient and less heat.
    Possibly something like this
