ve strut tops

has anybody that's lowered there ve had any problems with the strut tops cracking?

I've heard it's a fairly common issue so I replaced mine with Nolathane ones. I'm convinced it did make my front end sit a touch higher but it was nothing a set of SSLs couldn't fix.

Yeah i had mine fail bout 2k after i orginally lowered my last car(ssv), so i went with the pedders units cant fault them for quality or price.

OE rubber is garbage - mine went before it was lowered - twice - and a third time since - now have Superpro urethane strut mounts with boge bearings - definitely recommend them. Speak to Greg at GSL for a price.

yeah i have the skf bearings, just not the strut tops, ive got a set lined up pretty cheap just wondering if it was worth it or not
