Oil leaking? Any suggestions

[Homer's HSV]

Iam not 100% sure what this part is its next to the intake i was just doing a general clean and underneath there was a bit of oil the seals were dry the grease or oil substance was on the end part. I am thinking the belt is flicking something on it underneath side could that be possible no oil leaks anywhere else an suggestions would be great.

I can't tell what that is, but give it a good clean, let it idle up to temp, check again for leaks
