VE Sunroof stopped working MY10

Hey all,

The sunroof in my VE SV6 MY10 stopped working about 2 weeks ago. It is under warranty of course, but I want to understand why it would
have stopped working as taking it to the dealer would mean a day off work for diagnosis and another day off work to have it fixed as the dealer I bought it off is in Sydney and I'm in Newcastle.

I checked the fuse and it is still good.

When turning the dial to open the sunroof it does nothing makes no sound, there is no clicking noises, no motor noise.
What I did notice before the problem occurred was that the dial was a position that was half way between dot 1 and dot 2 for the retraction of the sunroof.
I turned the dial to close off the sun roof and it did it close but hasn't worked since.

Has anyone encountered this problem before?

Mate ANY Holden dealer can perform warranty repairs. You don't need to take it back to where you bought it.

have you pushed the knob in and held it in for five to ten seconds, this will reset, I have to do this very regularly as I open the sunroof every time I hop into my car.

Just a follow up, what Silver Streak said is correct, i was told if it happens again turn the knob all the way to the end of the tilt position and push the switch in for 5 to 10 seconds. The dealer said they had to reset my computer in the car (lost all radio station presets) and to turn and push in the sun roof switch if it happens again.
