hey guys is there any places in melbourne area that has installed twin exhaust on an omega and tune it to sound good if so how much did it cost ??

also i wanna get airbags on my omega where a place in melbourne and price to get them also would i get in trouble much from cops

please help

Exhaust go on eBay and buy an ss catback pretty cheap and bags well done properly will set you back engineered and fitted around the 6k mark

so if i get the ss cat back will i need to get ANY EXTRA EXHAUST MOUNTS
is it easy to diy ??

Hey mate yeah it's an easy DIY job just need exhaust (eBay, roughly $150), rear diffuser with twin exhaust molds (eBay, roughly $100) and mounts (Holden roughly $30). Hope this helps

Try Holden or a wreckers for your mounts buddy

Don't go anymore than 2.25" if it's an aftermarket exhaust on your six or it'll drone like all hell and before everyone gets up me for saying this I've been there and done it so :-|

Sorry but i have a perry s/s catback 3" exhaust on my ve sv6 and it doesn't drone.
Maybe the one you chose was a cheap brand... (i'll take it back if it wasn't).

Also, there are some guys on street commodores that did a group buy and imported airbags a few months ago for $2k aus dollars for the ve's, maybe you can find a good deal like that if you do a good search.

I have a cat back 2.25" on my 6cyl Omega, It does drone a little bit but nothing too bad.

I doubt a 3" exhaust on a SV6 doesn't drone at some speeds. And without FI or a cam or anything I'd bet you'd be loosing some power.

mate go to freds exhaust in spots ood , if you pay in cash he will get you a factory price on a catback 2.25" exhaust from xforce and will install it for extra 100 and will alighn it and every thing and pretty much will get it done the next day

This is my 3" Perry catback, don't know if you like it and don't know if they make one for omegas but you can call up Trevor from TheMufflerMan in Prahran if you want, that's where i got mine done.

i think i had mine done for 800 suplied fitted and aligned. just give them a call and ask them they might advise you better exhaust or anyting haha
