I was just servicing my VE 2008 SV6 and pulled off the one piece black engine cover when i noticed that at the side near the back of the cover drivers side that the cover has worn or rubbed nearly through the heater hose. The hose also goes around the rear injector in a half circle and this too has worn nearly through the heater hose. This hose then continues back into the firewall. Has anybody had this problem? if not it would be a good idea to check this problem.
I have removed some of the covers plastic material (filed off) so it does not touch the hose anymore and i have moved the other part of the heater hose off the the injector.
