Hey guys wondering if anybody can help me out here.
Couple weeks ago i got me VE Omega fitted with a new air intake and a catback exhaust,
for a for weeks now ive been getting the engine light come on and the ESP turning itself off automatically.
Everytime i try turning the esp back on it doesnt work, ive had the car scanned and it just says its lost communication to the traction control (U0101) Airflow outside of of range(P0101) and lastly Generator L-Terminal Circuit Low Voltage(P2500)
Do you think this is because of the Air intake because my cousin had the same exhaust installed the other day and has none of these problems?
Took it to my Auto Elec and he said the battery needs to be changed soon, gunna buy that soon hopefully it fixes it. Has anybody had this problem, or know how to fix it?
I had a similar problem with my ve omega after I installed the exhaust, there is 4 x O2 sensors. 2 on each exhaust stream. One is installed prior to the cat and one after the cat. When my exhaust was installed, they had one side back to front. It's important for these to be the correct way around or it causes all kinds of electronic problems.
Hope this helps
I drive an 07 Lumina (Stock. No mods) and I had the alternator light and ESP flicker on and off for a week or two.
Took it back under warranty and the guy said it was a software issue. He updated the software and hey presto it was swell.
Food for thought.
I have the exact same model, mods and problems. I have taken mine to Holden and came back with 2 codes saying too much flow through MAF and throttle. I changed my battery, and it made no difference AT ALL! Every time I drop my speed for any reason it flashes ESP off and beeps at me. It turns every car trip into a nightmare. My intake is Airhammer.
Begone troll!

Clean the MAF with contact cleaner and end of problem.
I use to own a 2009 VE omega and I had the same problem with traction control turning off and getting a power reduced warning up on the screen. I took it to Holden and they reset the problem but after a 20 min drive it would come straight back on. It cleared for about 3 months after I removed the battery for about an hour but once again it came back on. In regards to your exhaust problem I got one fitted to my omega and my VE thunder and had the engine light on constantly Holden told me I had to get the mounts changed because of the change in flow past the sensors this cost me $220 but it fixed the engine light problem and it hasn't come up since in the thunder, but for your omega I would sell it of you can if it keeps playing up because mate still has an omega doing the same thing and he hasn't been able to get the problem fixed to date
