Ok Guys I am at a loss here and need help. I took the + and - off the battery terminals today and when I replaced them the car would start but instantly stall and if I gave it pedal it would rev between 800 - 3000 by itself like I was revving it. I called RACQ and they came and messed with it and it started working again. They recommended I get a new battery, so I went and bought a new 550cca battery. I replaced it tonight and instantly did the same thing again. What did I do wrong or do I need to do to fix it? I have an 06 Omega.
Why did you remove them to begin with? Anything else done to the vehicle?
Silver Certified.
My ESP has problems etc etc I complained about in another thread. One bit advice I got from someone and what I read here said to disconnet the battery, wait 30 mins and plug it back in. This was crap advice. RACQ did things in a certain order and it fixed it... Apparently I have the wrong battery now. The stock battery in there was stuffed.
