redback mufflers way to quite

hey guys,
well i have spent all day cutting up my stock mufflers and welding the tips and flange on to a set of megaflow redback's
well after i had finished i went for a drive an well they dont sound much diffrent to my stock set ??
i have heard they get louder the more u drive them to a point but how much louder i was wondering as im thinking of selling them, an getting a x force cat back
dose any one have any ideas to get these louder ?
