Ve II ute audio upgrade

Hey Guys
Just got my sv6 series 2 sound upgrade done, thought I'd let
You know my experience and results.

Full alpine gear Rough prices
6.5 inch splits type r. 300ish
10 inch sub type r ( not slim line). 300ish
Custom box, behind my seat fits fine 200ish
Pdx digital amp runs splits and sub. 500 down from 800
Sound deadened the door 250
Labour and cables. 350
also got the middle speaker disconnected
Was total like 2k

If anyone's on Melbourne no limits in south melborne did a good as job.

As for the system sounds great at all levels no distortion at high range, sub isn't over powering

Any probs with the amp popping when you turn the car on?

Might give no limits a call. I've got alpine amp and speakers, and it is popping when i start the car.

I got the same type r's I think are they splits? I suggest for in the future for anyone o to jb to buy the speakers, when I got mine they were 350 I got them for 230 always say nah mate that's not the best price and they will knock it down, you payed a lot there mate haha, but nice set up I like it

Sounds good mate i got all the same in my thunder ss ute type r splits pdx amp but went for the 12 inch low profile alpine type r sub all up cost me $1500 and sounds amazing iv had big sytem before and this is up with that type r is tops SSV in keilor park did mine on the opening they had a huge sale.
Did they do a 4 channel line converter so you can have direct control for the sub aswell as the front speakers?

And JB are very over priced so you can work them on price if not get online there is alot of people who import this stuff and can whip it up pretty cheap

and the popping is from the line converter coming on as it is off the accerories alot of ve's with these do it wont harm anything
