    Question VE Berlina - Questions

    Hi Guys,

I am new here and new to commodores, just brought a second hand 07 Berlina and I have a few questions?

    1. Does anyone know how to pop the reverse sensor back into its spot without removing the rear bumper?

    2. Is the plastic cover below the centre speaker removable as I am looking to build a pop-up GPS in there?

    1. Remove the rest of the car from the rear bumper. Pop the sensor back into place. Re-attach the car to the bumper. Personally, I reckon it would be easier to remove the rear bumper.

    2. It's moulded plastic - i.e. one piece. And even if it wasn't, your pop up GPS wouldn't fit above the vent pipes.

LOL! Yer that does sound harder to remove the car from the bumper. =P

As for the gps I was thinking more slide out from flat rather than pop-up...

But thanks for the help though, much appreciated.

The speaker grill section can be separated (Pull from the back of the grill, it is held in by 4 clips).

You ??? might ??? be able to get behind the bumper if you jack the back of the car up... But it is difficult to say.
Because you have a Berlina, proper rear park sensor mounts should be moulded into the bumper, so it will be a matter of popping the sensor back in place.

If you had dealer fitted sensors (such as an omega/SV6), then the sensors are glued in place. (Yeuck)

Sorry, forgot to mention that the plastic in front of the speaker grill is part of the whole surround.... It cannot be separated...

You can have a close look at it here (Click on the image for a close up view)

    Cool thanks Zerone_V

Has anyone purchased the GPS dash kit from JHP?
I am just wondering what you actually get with it (i.e. Silver Trim, Speaker grill, etc.)?
